If you have an existing relationship with Standard Chartered Bank UAE, please open an Online Equity Trading Account and agree to the Terms and Conditions via Online Banking (web browser). When your account is opened you can start trading via Online Banking and/or SC Mobile app.
- You can only buy/ sell securities if you have a designated settlement account in the currency that the security is priced or traded in.
- Ensure to select the currency settlement accounts corresponding with the markets you would like to trade in. E.g if you would like to trade in the Singapore market you should select the SGD settlement account. You can select more than one currency settlement accounts.
- If you wish to trade in USA markets via the Standard Chartered Online Equity Trading platform, you will need to download and complete the W-8BEN < https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw8ben.pdf> US Tax Form to certify your US Person status and submit it to your Relationship Manager or visit any of our branches. It may take up to 5 working days to process your US Tax Form.
