As a Priority Private Journey credit card holder you can enjoy an extra round of golf per month

Simply follow the below steps to setup your account and make your golf booking on SpikesOn.com mobile app.
How to sign up or create an account in Spikeson.app
  1. Download the SpikesOn App from Apple store or Google Play.
  2. Create your account in the app by entering your details and applying the OTP verification code sent to your registered mobile number or email address.
  3. Click on the Standard Chartered tile o the homepage.
  4. Click ‘Upload Your Card’ and proceed to upload your journey credit card.
How to reserve your Golf booking in the app?
  1. Once your card has been uploaded, return to the homepage and click on the Standard Chartered tile.
  2. Choose a date and select the club you wish to play at. You can book your complimentary round for up to 7 days from the date of booking.
  3. Browse and select a tee time of your choice.
  4. You are presented with your booking confirmation. You are all set to play your complimentary round of golf!

The complimentary round of golf is subject to meeting a minimum spend requirement of AED 10,000 on your card each calendar month, otherwise a one-time fee of AED 525 will be charged. Refer to the terms and conditions below to find out more information.

STEP 1

Once you have uploaded your Journey Card, you can proceed to the account page where you can find the Activation code section

STEP 2

You can click on the Activation Codes section and apply the unique code given to you by Standard Chartered.

STEP 3

Once you click Submit, a success pop up will appear saying you have successfully upgraded the Journey Program.

STEP 4

You are now recognised as a VIP Member – Screen on the right is what a normal Journey Card holder will see (missing VIP Member under Active member)

STEP 5

Priority Private customers will see the limit changes once they scroll down the page: E.g. 2 per month instead of 1 per month as well as 6 per year at each facility instead of 3 per year.

Select your golf course and enjoy !

  • All Journey cardholders are eligible for 1 complimentary round of golf each month, this complimentary visit per month is a shared benefit limit between the primary and supplementary credit card holders. Whereas all Journey Priority Private cardholders are eligible for an extra round of golf each month which means they get 2 rounds of gold per month, this complimentary visit per month is a shared benefit limit between the primary and supplementary credit card holders.
  • The cardholder will be charged with an additional game fee of AED 525 if the round of golf booking is made in SpikesOn.com (more than one booking in the same month) .
  • The journey cardholder is limited to a maximum of 3 rounds of golf per participating facility (Golf Clubs) in a calendar year. For example, there are 8 golf clubs, and each golf club has a maximum booking limit of three rounds in one calendar year period. If the maximum booking limit (3 rounds) has been availed in the same calendar period, then the cardholder will require to choose another listed golf venue for booking.
  • You must spend AED 10,000 on your credit card each calendar month to enjoy this offer, otherwise a one-time fee of AED 525 will be charged.
  • Golf privileges are subsidised by Standard Chartered Bank and not a direct offer from the golf club. Only available for Journey card holders whose card account is in good standing order and is regularised (not in default or not cancelled for any reason). This program is not transferable.
  • This benefit is only available when you book via the SpikesOn.com mobile app or on their website www.spikeson.com, using your eligible Standard Chartered Journey credit card. The SpikesOn.com mobile app is offered by Back9 Solutions General Trading LLC.
  • The bookings are required to be placed a maximum of seven (7) days before the date of play on weekdays and weekends.
  • SpikesOn App will have the capability of booking one (1) complimentary game(s) for the calendar month based on the date of play & not the date of booking. For example, if the client has already utilised booked 1 the complimentary game(s) in April, they will not be able to play another round in April. but they can make another booking in April to play during the following month.
  • Process of making any changes in the Golf booking after receiving the confirmation:
    1. If the booking is outside 48 hrs, the customer can adjust via the app. The only change they cannot make is to add an additional person to a booking or move the booking to a different time. In these cases, the customer can simply cancel the original booking and book again. Any changes made to a booking will be notified to the client by email with a booking confirmation.
    2. If the booking is inside the 48 hrs cancellation policy, the client can contact the golf club directly and if agreed to by the golf club, the golf club can make any changes to the booking. Journey card holders will have to pay for buggy, caddie, turf mate, locker fee and insurance at normal published rates & any other fees, where applicable at the club. Card holders credit card will be charged for the full amount 48 hours before a booking after card holder confirms booking using com mobile app or website.
  • Card holders’ guests have to pay for green fee, buggy, caddie, turf mate, locker fee and insurance at normal published rates & any other fees, where applicable.
  • In case of cancellation within 48 hours of the booking or no show for the golf round, the cardholder will incur fee/charges charged from the participating Golf Clubs as per the rate on that day. This rate will be subjective to the rate offered by the golf club to the Bank. Also, the golf round of that month will also be marked as consumed.
  • Journey card holders shall make golf enquiries through SpikesOn.com help support dedicated hotline number +97142348885 and dedicated email help@back9solutions.com. Journey cardholders can also benefit from the automated ‘Help Bot’.
  • Standard Chartered Bank or SpikesOn.com reserves the right to withhold services to golfers who do not abide by the terms and conditions of play.
  • Acceptance of all bookings/changes to tee times will be at the discretion of the golf clubs and subject to availability.
  • Applicable Third-Party vendor fees/charges may incur Value Added Tax VAT.
