We offer specialised banking products in Asia, Africa and the Middle East to Australia based wholesale clients. Standard Chartered Bank has nearly 60 years of banking experience in Australia. It entered the market in 1964. Standard Chartered Bank holds an Australian Financial Services licence and is authorised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority as a Foreign Authorised Deposit-taking Institution.
Our aim is to facilitate trade and investment flows between Australia and the Standard Chartered Bank footprint of Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) business in Sydney supports the business needs of Australian wholesale clients. Global Account Managers (GAMs) offer support for Australian clients operating overseas by identifying business requirements, establishing global lines of credit and allocating these as appropriate to the clients operations in our footprint. GAMs provide comprehensive multi-regional support to Australian clients.
Standard Chartered Bank provides proactive business development services focused on emerging markets. Across all regions, Field Account Managers (FAMs) work alongside product specialists to rapidly respond to the wide-ranging needs of client’s subsidiary operations.
