Jörg Hessenmüller appointed Chief Operating Officer of Standard Chartered Bank AG

Frankfurt, 15 April 2024 – Standard Chartered Bank AG has appointed Jörg Hessenmüller (53) as Chief Operating Officer and a Member of the Managing Board. Based in Frankfurt, Jörg will assume office on 6 May 2024.

Jörg has extensive experience working in banking and financial markets. He was most recently Senior Advisor at Roland Berger. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer, Member of the Management Board of Commerzbank AG, and was previously a Board member at Polish mBank, responsible for Finance and Investor Relations. He began his career in 1989 at Dresdner Bank.
