Brand partnerships are a powerful marketing tool that drive brand and business outcomes, and our sponsorship of Liverpool Football Club is a prime example of this. Over the last 14 seasons, we’ve collaborated with the Reds to deliver hundreds of activations, events and exclusive experiences for our clients, colleagues and LFC fans across Standard Chartered’s key markets in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.
On the community side, we’ve been able to raise close to USD500,000 for ‘Futuremakers by Standard Chartered’ to tackle inequality and promote economic inclusion, through our annual LFC shirt logo swap. And through our award-winning joint ‘Play On’ initiative with Liverpool FC, which aims to inspire, empower and educate girls to participate in sport, we will have reached 10,500 girls in Standard Chartered’s footprint markets in the first year since inception.
