Our partnership with Liverpool FC Women

As the official main partner of LFCW, we’re proud to share stories of women’s participation in sport

Life lessons of football

In this series, we look at the shared life lessons football has taught our Goal programme alumni and Liverpool FC Women players. Goal uses sport, including football, to support women to realise that no dream is too small.

The programme helps transform the lives of adolescent girls to reach their potential to become economic leaders in their families and communities. Goal is taught in 24 countries and has empowered over 600,000 girls since 2006.

Being bold

In our final episode, Damaris, our Goal alumni and referee, and Liverpool FC Women’s Taylor Hinds share with us how football has given them the self-belief and discipline to enable them to realise their dreams of becoming a referee and a professional player.

From the Shoulder of Giants

A series of short films – both touching and humorous – with former members of the first ever England Women’s National team; a Dick, Kerr Ladies team historian; and current Liverpool FCW players.

Hear how these pioneering women fought to overturn the ban on women’s football in England and go on to create the Women’s Football Association and the first Women’s National team, and how through their passion and perseverance, the Women’s Super League was formed and helped shape women’s football of today.
