After conducting careful research, I understood that a career in banking would help me to achieve my ambitions and allow me to develop skills that I could use within both my professional and personal lives. Working in the banking industry has given me access to an entirely new dimension of success and I can wholeheartedly say that my decision to pursue a career in the financial industry was the best choice I could have made.

What has been your most memorable experience with Standard Chartered?
My entire journey with Standard Chartered has been memorable and I have enjoyed every second of it - even the challenges! Every day creates a new experience and I have harnessed this to develop my knowledge and continuously learn. If I had to choose my most memorable experience since joining the Bank, it would have to be my first day with the Bank on the 9th of July 2011. If I had not embarked on my journey with Standard Chartered, my life today would be completely different. My first day was a defining moment in the trajectory of my life and I will cherish that memory forever.
What have you achieved since joining the Bank?
In the eleven years that I have spent with Standard Chartered, I have gone from strength to strength and I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved. My most notable achievement was being recognised by senior leadership when I was presented with the Asia Achiever’s Council Award in 2021. Being nominated for this award was an achievement in itself, but winning the award is one of my proudest accomplishments. Being recognised as a CPBB frontrunner made all my hard work worthwhile and motivated me to continue being the very best that I can be.
