Sebastian Luber tells us what drew him into a career in banking

I currently work in the Corporate Sales Team on the trading floor in Frankfurt. Here we support our clients in hedging their foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity risks. The combination of working with people and numbers at the same time drove me to a career in banking and Standard Chartered´s motto: “Here for good”. For me it is very important to have a positive impact on our global society and environment.

The fast paced environment here at the bank keeps me excited. I think one of my most memorable moments was being able to support the team at a larger life trade event some weeks after my start. The faced paced workflow and everybody being highly focused was something very impressive for me.
