Asha Mehta

Asha Mehta is a Director at Standard Chartered Bank, within the Financing and Securities Services department. She manages a diverse portfolio of financial institutional clients originating in the UK, Europe and Americas, and investing in Standard Chartered’s unique footprint markets across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Asha grew up in Mumbai – India’s financial capital. She started her professional journey with a high intensity role as an equities trader at IL&FS, then moved into the relationship management space with HSBC and further gained insights into the lending world through Aditya Birla Financial Services, before moving to London and joining Standard Chartered Bank 6 years ago.

Through her passion for networking and collaboration, Asha has successfully helped her clients navigate some of the world’s most complex frontier and emerging markets and built mutually beneficial relationships between her organisations and clientele.

Asha completed her post-graduation in Finance from ICFAI University, India. She lives in London with her husband and 8-year-old son. She enjoys travelling to new places and exploring the culture and cuisine, whenever she can.
