Chow Wan Thonh

Wan Thonh joined Standard Chartered Bank in February 2019 as Head of Global Banking,
Singapore and soon assumed expanded responsibility for Client Coverage across ASEAN
and South Asia.

She was appointed Global Head of the Global Industries Group in February 2021. In this
role, Wan Thonh will oversee the delivery of a full suite of banking and strategic solutions
to clients in key sectors including Commercial Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Chemicals, Metals
& Mining, Power, Utilities & Infrastructure, Clean Tech, Technology, and Commodity
Traders & Agribusiness.

Wan Thonh has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, holding a number of
senior leadership roles in international banks across transaction banking, capital markets
and strategic advisory for corporate and institutional clients. She joined Standard Chartered
from HSBC, where she has been Head of Global Banking, Singapore and Head of
Corporates, Financials and Multinationals Banking for Southeast Asia since 2016. Prior to
that Wan Thonh had a 15-year career at Citibank and has held senior positions including
Head of Financial Institutions and Head of Sales for Transaction Banking Services.

Wan Thonh is a member of the Client Coverage Management Team and is based in
Singapore. She is also a Non-Executive Director in the Board of Standard Chartered Bank
(Vietnam) Limited. She is a Singaporean and holds a Bachelors’s degree in Business
Administration from the National University of Singapore.
