Danielle Sharpe
Head, FI Clearing Product
Danielle Sharpe is the Head, FI Clearing Product for the Transaction Banking, Cash Management business at Standard Chartered Bank. She is responsible for building and developing solutions for Financial Institution clients, globally. Danielle leads a team of product managers, and partners closely across the business to drive the FI clearing strategy.
Danielle holds a varied background covering transaction banking, law enforcement, and non-financial risk management. She brings 15+ years of experience, focused predominantly on payments, and the design and delivery of product and risk management solutions for Affiliates, Banks and FinTech.
Danielle’s roles at Standard Chartered Bank include Transaction Banking Chief of Staff, with responsibility for TB’s non-financial risk and resilience program, and Head of Correspondent Banking Financial Crime Compliance, responsible for developing the group risk framework and leading client advisory for clearing product risk, across 22 markets in Asia.
Previously, Danielle was the financial crime Accountable Executive at ClearBank, involved in the successful launch of multi-currency clearing and banking-as-a-service, focused on traditional banks, non-bank financial institutions and payment service providers.
Danielle is a graduate of Loughborough University (UK), a member of the ASEAN Women in Payments advisory board, and an active speaker on panels, and live podcasts. She is also a trained NeuroLeadership coach, passionate about building for the next generation.
