Fook Hien Yap

Fook Hien is a Senior Investment Strategist at Standard Chartered Bank, part of the Equity Strategy Team. Based in Singapore, he has responsibility for generating equity investment ideas, heading up the equity Sector Investment Committee and contributing to the Global Investment Committee’s investment recommendations.

Fook Hien joined Standard Chartered Bank in April 2019 and prior to that worked at OCBC and various investment funds based in London and New York. He has over 10 years experience investing in equities based on fundamental long-short and event driven strategies. Fook Hien started his working life in Investment banking at UBS within M&A advisory.

Fook Hien holds an MSc. in Economics and BSc. in Economics from the London School of Economics.
