Appointed
Robin was appointed an independent non-executive director of Standard Chartered PLC in July 2022 and to the Court of Standard Chartered Bank in December 2022.
Experience
Robin brings extensive international banking experience in global markets and financial institutions. In addition to a broad understanding of commercial banking, she has specialist knowledge in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions and capital raising.
Career
Robin spent over 25 years at J.P.Morgan Chase in a number of senior executive positions. She has valuable executive and non-executive experience across global markets and has considerable understanding of regulatory and governance issues. She served as an independent non-executive director at Nordea ABP from 2014 to 2023, an independent non-executive director of UKGI (United Kingdom Government Investments – the corporate finance and corporate governance arm of Her Majesty’s Treasury) from 2014 to 2022, and an independent non-executive director of M&G PLC from 2019 to 2021. She received a CBE for services to finance and diversity in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2020.
