Sujay Shah
Managing Director, Global Head, Cleantech and Environment M&A
Sujay Shah joined Standard Charted Bank in 2011 and currently heads a global team responsible for the Clean Technology M&A for clients focused on environment linked sectors like renewable energy, green hydrogen, water, waste, batteries etc. In his current role, he has been instrumental in providing strategic advice and assisting numerous Cleantech focused companies to raise both debt and equity capital across different stages of their growth cycle.
Sujay is an industry veteran with deep client relationships across the sector and a regular speaker at high profile Clean Tech conferences organised by Euro money, PFI, Bloomberg etc. Sujay is a Chartered Accountant, a MBA from Indian Institute of Management, India and holds a Masters in Commerce Degree from Mumbai University. Prior to this role, Sujay has worked in Lehman Brothers / Barclays Capital in New York and at Morgan Stanley in Singapore.
