Pam Walkden to retire as Group Head of HR; Tanuj Kapilashrami to assume role

London – Standard Chartered today announced that Pam Walkden, Group Head of Human Resources, will retire from her full-time executive role with the Group at the end of the year. Tanuj Kapilashrami, currently Group Head of Talent, Learning and Culture, will assume leadership of the HR function at that time, subject to regulatory approval.

Pam joined the Group nearly 30 years ago and has held leadership roles in Corporate & Institutional Banking, Internal Audit, Asset & Liability Management, Group Treasury and Risk. Tanuj joined the Group in 2017 and has since taken on additional responsibility as Head of HR for Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking.
