Standard Chartered attracts over USD1 billion in funds linked to house views
Singapore – Standard Chartered Bank (“the Bank”) has raised more than USD1 billion under its suite of Signature CIO Funds. The Signature CIO Funds are a range of multi-asset solutions providing clients with an easy and efficient way to gain exposure to the Bank’s Chief Investment Office (CIO) house views.
Launched in late 2022, the four Funds (Conservative, Income, Balanced, and Growth) vary their asset allocation to suit differing client risk and income profiles. Standard Chartered acts as the Investment Advisor on the portfolios, advising on asset allocation and the underlying securities to invest in. Amundi Asset Management, a global top 10 asset manager, acts as the Investment Manager.
Available to retail clients in 12 markets1 globally, Signature CIO Funds democratises an investment product that was traditionally only available to private banking clients. The four Funds have been popular with clients looking for multi-asset solutions to help them grow their wealth. They have all performed well, with the Signature CIO Growth Fund returning more than 28% since launch.
