We appoint Lucy Taylor-Smith as our new Global Head of Strategy
Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Lucy Taylor-Smith as Global Head, Strategy. Based in Singapore, Lucy will join the Bank on 30 April 2018 and be responsible for developing and enabling the delivery of the Bank’s strategy. She will report to Andy Halford, Group Chief Financial Officer, and will join his Management Team.
Lucy joins Standard Chartered from Manulife Asia where she was Chief Strategy Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. In this role, she led the development and delivery of Manulife Asia’s business strategy. She also served as Chairman of the Board for Manulife Singapore.
Prior to this, Lucy was Chief Strategy Officer and Board Director for Prudential Corporation Asia, based in Hong Kong since 2010. She also spent 13 years with UBS advising companies on a wide range of strategic initiatives and corporate transactions across mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, culminating in her position as Executive Director of Corporate Broking.
