We’re proud to have been named ‘Best Global Consumer Digital Bank’ 2017

Standard Chartered won 32 awards from Global Finance this year, including Best Global Consumer Digital Bank, which we received for the seventh year in a row. The team took home awards for Best Global Consumer Website Design, Best Global Consumer Information Security Initiative, Best Global Consumer Online Deposit, Credit and Investment Product Offerings and Best Consumer Digital Bank Africa. Global Finance’s annual World’s Best Digital Bank Awards were held in London last month.

These complement a first round of Global Finance awards announced in September 2017 for individual countries and regional sub-categories.

Winners are selected by a judging panel who evaluate participants based on the following criteria: strategy for attracting and servicing digital customers, success in getting clients to use digital offerings, growth of digital customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from digital initiatives, and web/mobile site design and functionality, according to Global Finance.

Best Consumer Digital Bank in 12 countries: Botswana, Ghana, Hong Kong, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
