We’ve appointed Robert Snell as Global Head, Global Subsidiaries, Global Banking

Standard Chartered has appointed Robert Snell to run the Bank’s Global Subsidiaries business, reporting to Paul Skelton, Global Head, Global Banking. Rob will be based in London. His appointment is effective 1 July 2017.

Rob is a banking veteran and has spent nearly 30 years in corporate and investment banking, driving client coverage. Rob joins Standard Chartered from Deutsche Bank where he was Global Head of Multinational Coverage. Prior to this, Rob spent 25 years with Citi in various senior leadership roles including running Citi’s Global Subsidiaries business and its Japanese Corporate Banking operations.  He is a strong leader with a wealth of experience supporting some of the world’s largest and most complex multinationals in their operations across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

In this role, Rob will lead Standard Chartered’s Global Subsidiaries business, leveraging the Bank’s unique network to support the international banking requirements of the Bank’s multinational clients.  Commenting on Rob’s appointment, Paul Skelton, Global Head, Global Banking said: “I am delighted that Rob has chosen to join Standard Chartered.
