We’ve launched a clearing and intermediation offering via ECLiPSe
Standard Chartered has launched an FX Intermediation product, under the Execution, Clearing, Liquidity and Portfolio Services platform (also known as ECLiPSe). This product follows on from the roll out of FX Spot Intermediation earlier this year, and now enables ECLiPSe to fully service clients across their FX and Rates portfolios via either Intermediation or OTC Clearing channels.
Following the launch of ECLiPSe with OTC Client Clearing, Standard Chartered has focused on further developing a platform to meet clients’ demands. With FX Intermediation, clients can benefit from increased credit lines, better pricing, margin consolidation and operational efficiencies. Standard Chartered is now one of a select number of banks to actively offer clients a Rates Intermediation service, which has similar benefits.
Standard Chartered is committed to extending the ECLiPSe offering in 2016, with the addition of new Central Counterparty Clearing Houses, as well as platform efficiencies through Cross Service Margining, portfolio compression and client focused portfolio analytics tools.

ECLiPSe was launched in mid-2013 with the objective of providing a comprehensive range of services in line with our strategy of staying relevant to our clients and being responsive to their needs. These services include optimisation of pricing and execution, access to liquidity hubs, client clearing, and an array of portfolio services within the derivatives market.
