Terms & Conditions of Travel

Travel undertaken by the Cardmembers pursuant to this offer shall be subject to the "Terms and Conditions of contract of Carriage" as appearing on the website of jet including all applicable acts, laws, rules and regulations as amended from time to time. This would need to be prominently included in communication by SCB to its Cardmembers.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility – All SCB cards issued in Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong as represented in Annexure I are eligible for 15% discount in Economy cabins respectively, on base fares of Jet Airways marketed and operated flights. Codeshare/Interline/FFP Partners' flights do not qualify for this promotion for the period 01/01/09 – 31/03/09.

The 15% Economy discount on base fare is valid for one-way/return revenue tickets from India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong into Dubai booked on jet airways local websites.

The Promotional Offer applies to tickets booked on jet airways local websites.:

The discount will be calculated on the currency of the fare displayed at the time of the Cardmember booking the ticket.

Discount is applicable only on the base fare. This offer does not cover taxes, surcharges (fuel, congestion, etc.) and any other applicable levies over and above the base fare.

Eligible classes & routes for the promotion are as mentioned in the table. Classes other than those mentioned here do not qualify for the discount offer.

Travel can be one-way or/and return on above displayed routes' revenue tickets available on jet airways website and only on 9W marketed and operated flights.

There will be two campaign codes issued by Jet Airways to be quoted by Standard Chartered Bank Card Customers at the time of booking viz.:

SCBIND - Applicable for all Jet Airways Economy cabin flights for point of flight origin as India and destination Dubai.
SCBINTL - Applicable for all Jet Airways Economy cabin flights for point of flight origin as Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and point of destination being Dubai.

If the travel involves a domestic sector as a part of the itinerary, discount will not be applicable on the domestic sector.

The Discount will be applicable only if the Cardmember quotes either of the promotion codes – SCBIND, SCBINTL before the start of the booking process. Discount will not be applicable on a retro-active basis.

In case the Cardmember wants to reschedule the itinerary resulting in change of cabin, booking class or sector, the Cardmember will have to cancel the existing booking and make a fresh booking for the new itinerary on jet airways website to be able to avail of the discount offer. Cardmember will not be entitled to the discount if he/she reschedules the itinerary and pays the difference in fare either through a travel agent or by calling the Jet Airways call centre or through any other booking channel.

In case of cancellation or refunds, applicable rules will be calculated on the discounted fare and not on the base fare at the time of booking the ticket.

The Discount will be applicable for ticket/s booked between January, 1st 2009 and March 31st,2009 both days inclusive and a SCB card member must travel between January, 1st 2009 and March 31st, 2009 both days inclusive.

Tickets issued before the start date of the offer will not qualify for discount.

In case of one-way or return travel, the inbound and outbound travel must be within the travel validity date for the discount to be applicable.

This offer cannot be clubbed with any other promotional offer of the Partner.

SCB does not hold any warranty or make any representation of the availability, quality, or suitability of this Promotional Offer and/ or services under this offer.

Any disputes as regards availability, quality, or suitability of this offer and/or /services under this offer must be addressed by the Cardmember in writing to Jet Airways directly and SCB will not entertain any communication in this regard.

SCB shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, to Cardmember, directly or indirectly, by use or non-use of products/services under this offer.

Only those Cardmembers who hold an open, valid, SCB Card for the entire duration of the offer shall be eligible. The Cardmember should continue to pay the minimum due before the due date.

The Cardmember hereby agrees and undertakes not to hold SCB and/or or any of their group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors, responsible for or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses that the SCB club member may/might have suffered, sustained or incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain or incur, by way of and /or on account of the present offer.

JetPrivilege members will earn JPMiles as per the applicable class of travel.
