  1. What is Standard Chartered-EaseMyTrip Credit Card?
    Standard Chartered-EaseMyTrip Credit Card is a Co-brand Credit card between Standard Chartered Bank and EaseMyTrip with exclusive travel benefits. It combines the power of discounts with reward points making it one of the most rewarding travel credit card.

  3. What makes the Standard Chartered-EaseMyTrip credit card an ideal travel credit card?
    Standard Chartered-EaseMyTrip credit card has exclusive travel benefits as mentioned below:
    i. Instant discount benefit while booking hotel* airline and bus tickets at EaseMyTrip website/app.
    ii. Accelerated rewards for booking hotel and airline tickets at standalone hotel and airline website/app/outlets.

  4. What is the annual fees for the Standard Chartered-EaseMyTrip Credit Card?
    Annual fees for the Standard Chartered-EaseMyTrip Credit Card is Rs 350+GST for 1st year. There is a renewal fee of Rs 350 + GST from 2nd year onwards. Renewal fee will be reversed for clients with spends greater than or equal to Rs 50,000 in the previous year.
  5. When will the client be eligible for 10 reward points on the Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    Client will be eligible for 10 reward points for every Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) spent on booking airline tickets and hotel reservations on standalone airline or hotel websites/ mobile applications/outlets and not through any aggregators.
  6. On which airline or hotel websites/mobile application/outlets will the client be eligible for 10 reward points?
    Identification of websites/applications/outlets as standalone airlines and hotel is based on the merchant category codes allotted by Visa. Standard Chartered Bank will not be responsible for providing 10 times rewards for purchases at websites/applications and outlets which have not registered themselves under merchant category codes assigned for airline or hotel websites/applications/outlets by Visa.
  7. Will the client be eligible for reward points for any other spends except above?
    Yes, clients will be eligible for 2 reward points for every Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) spent on all other category of retail spends, except spends on airline and hotel booking on standalone websites/applications/outlets, returned purchases, disputed or unauthorized/fraudulent transactions, finance charges, card account fees, cash withdrawals and charged back transactions.
  8. Is there any capping of reward points on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    There is no capping on the reward points earned per month on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card.
  9. What is the expiry on reward points earned on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    Reward points on EaseMyTrip credit card expires within 2 years from the date on which they are earned.
  10. What is the value of each reward point earned on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    1 reward point = INR 0.25/- (Twenty-Five Paise Only)
  11. Where can the client redeem reward points earned on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    i. The reward points earned can be redeemed through the rewards portal of the bank i.e., R360 https://retail.sc.com/in/rewards360/rewards_home/in.
    ii. Client can also login to Online Banking & proceed to 360 Rewards.
    iii. Client needs to select EaseMyTrip card in the drop-down menu (in case of multiple SCB credit cards)
  12. When can the client see reward points earned on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    Reward points earned on transactions done using Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card prior to the statement generation date will reflect on the same month’s statement and also on R360 portal. For rewards earned on transactions after statement generation date, will reflect in the next statement.
  13. Can the reward points earned be redeemed against the credit card statement outstanding?
    No, reward points earned on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card cannot be redeemed against the credit card outstanding.
  14. Will clients earn reward points on transactions converted into EMI?
    Yes, clients can earn reward points on transactions converted into EMI.
  15. Is there any redemption fee applicable when client redeems their reward points?
    Yes, there is a redemption fee of INR 99/- (Rupees Ninety-Nine Only)
  16. Where can the client avail the benefit of Instant Discount on their Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    The client is eligible for instant discount benefit for hotel* , airline and bus bookings done on EaseMyTrip website or mobile application using their Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card.
  17. What is the instant discount benefit that the clients can earn?
    Instant discount benefit is as below using Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card on EaseMyTrip website/application/outlets. Clients will need to use coupon code “EMTSCB” in the payment page to avail this benefit.

  18. Is there any limitation on the instant discount benefit?
    Yes, clients will be eligible for instant discount benefit only once per month per card in each of the categories defined above. i.e., if a client has already earned instant discount once in a month on booking domestic flights through EaseMyTrip website/application, they will not be eligible for further discounts on booking domestic flights in that month using the same card. However, they can earn instant discount if a different category of booking is made apart from domestic flights. Also, in order to avail this benefit, clients will need to use coupon code “EMTSCB”.
  19. Is there any minimum transaction value to be eligible for an instant discount at EaseMyTrip website?
    No, there is no minimum transaction value criteria to be eligible for instant discount except for bus bookings, where a minimum transaction of Rs 500 is required.
  20. Is the instant discount benefit applicable for both primary and supplementary card holder?
    Yes, instant discount benefit can be availed by both primary and supplementary card holders individually.
  21. Will clients be eligible for instant discount benefit if flight or hotel bookings are done on any other platform instead of EaseMyTrip website/app?
    No. Client will be eligible for the instant discount benefit using Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card only at EaseMyTrip website/app. Also, to avail this benefit, promo code “EMTSCB” needs to be applied.
  22. Will the client be also eligible for 10 reward points for bookings done at EaseMyTrip website/application/outlet using Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card along with the instant discount benefit?
    No, client will not be eligible for 10 reward points. But will earn 2 reward points for every Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) spent.
  23. Are clients eligible for complimentary lounge access on Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    Yes, clients will be eligible for 1 complimentary domestic lounge visit per calendar quarter, using their Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip Credit Card. Both primary and supplementary card holders will have this access individually.
    With effect from 15 October 2024, clients will be eligible for 2 complimentary domestic lounge visits per calendar year, using their Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip Credit Card. Both primary and supplementary card holders will have this access individually.
  24. Will clients be eligible for Priority Pass along with their Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card?
    Yes, clients will be eligible for Priority Pass which will be sent along with their Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card.
    With effect from 15 October 2024, clients will not be eligible for Priority Pass along with their Standard Chartered EaseMyTrip credit card.
  25. What is the benefit that clients will get using their Priority Pass?Clients will be eligible for 2 complimentary international lounge visit per calendar year using their Priority Pass. Both primary and supplementary card holders will have this access individually. Please note that the card member will be liable to pay for each domestic lounge visit using Priority Pass, as per applicable charges.
    With effect from 15 October 2024, clients will no longer be eligible for complimentary international lounge access using Priority Pass. Please note that the card member will be liable to pay for each visit using Priority Pass, as per applicable charges.
  26. What merchant categories will be considered as rental payments?
    Credit card transactions with Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6513, 7349 are covered under Rental Payments.
    A Merchant Category Code (MCC) is a four-digit number assigned to a merchant/business by the merchant’s acquiring bank. These are defined by networks e.g.  Visa, MasterCard.
  27. What is the processing fee for rental payments?
    A processing fee of 1% (plus taxes) would be applicable to all rental transactions. This fee will be over and above any charges applied by the merchant as communicated to the client at the time of transaction.
    For example – If you pay INR 20,000 on a third-party rent payment platform using your Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card, 1% of transaction amount i.e. INR 200 plus taxes will be charged as a processing fee
  28. When will this processing fee be effective from?
    Processing fee on rental payments will be effective from April 02, 2023.
  29. When will this fee get levied?
    The processing fee will be levied by 15th of the next calendar month and will have a separate narration in the monthly statement.
