NTB Offer for Premium Clients (Amazon) – Terms and Conditions

1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank, India
2. Offer Period: 1st June 2024 – 31st December 2024
3. Offer details and Fulfilment

Target Segment: New to Bank – Premium clients. Applicability: 100% of resident clients signing up for SCB Premium banking

Offer details: Amazon Voucher of INR 5000 (Indian Rupees Five thousand only) @ 5 Month from the month of onboarding subject to fulfilment of offer conditions.

Offer conditions:
• Offer Condition 1- Fulfilment of Premium Qualification at least twice or in the month 2 of the offer period. Client should satisfy the program qualification criteria of the Premium Banking segment in any of the two months or in the month 2 after being onboarded to be eligible for this offer.
Premium Qualification to be defined as:
a. Minimum monthly average FUM# (Funds under management) of Rs. 15 Lakh, or
b. Minimum monthly salary credit into Standard Chartered salary account of Rs. 1.5 Lakh,
or
c. Mortgage approved amount of Rs. 1 Crore and above in the first 12 month of commencement of Premium Banking relationship, and thereafter maintain a Mortgage outstanding balance above Rs. 1 Crore

FUM (Funds under management) includes any one or combination of the following products from the Bank: Savings accounts, Term Deposits, Assets under Management of Investments made through the Bank. Month end balance will be considered for all products.

• Offer Condition 2- Activation of spends and transaction usage on Card Spends (Credit /Debit)/UPI Spends – Client must spend INR 50000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) within 3 months of being onboarded (Month of account opening plus another two months) using either SCB Credit or Debit card or both/UPI Spends from SCB Account. Cumulative spends should be Rupees Fifty Thousand only (INR 50000/-) at the end of Calendar month 2.

• For purpose of clarity – Calendar Month 0- onboarding Months and consequently – Calendar Month 1, Calendar Month 2. Fulfilment of the voucher to happen in the 5th month, of onboarding.

Amazon voucher will be sent by the Bank to the Clients within 5 months from the [date] of Offer Period. The Bank will send the Amazon voucher on the registered email address of the Clients meeting the Offer terms. Amazon voucher terms shall apply for redemption of the voucher.

4. General Terms and Conditions

1. This is an exclusive offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank India (‘SCB /Bank’). the details regarding the offer are available on the Bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
2. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this.
3. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the offer up to the termination/expiry date.
4. Participation in this offer is entirely voluntary and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made voluntarily.
5. The offer is non-transferable.
6. The offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
7. The Bank shall not entertain any such disputes on the quality of products delivered by Amazon even if, the customer approaches the Bank for resolution of the same.
8. The Bank will not be responsible or liable in case the Offer is not configured or could not be availed due to malfunction, delay, traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website.
9. The Bank does not endorse any of the products, services or brands being offered under the Offer and will not accept any liability pertaining to the quality, merchantability, fitness, delivery or after-sales service of such products or services, which shall be at the sole liability of the sellers on the Amazon.
10. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements for the results of the offer. The Qualified Clients shall be intimated by the Bank through Email only.
11. In all matters relating to this offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
12. By participating in the offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
13. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the client.
14. The Offer shall be subject to usual force majeure events and on occurrence of such event, the Offer may be withdrawn at the discretion of the Bank.
15. Nothing expressed or implied in the program shall in any way waive or amend any of the applicable terms and conditions.
16. Pictures of products shown in the communication sent to the customer either through mailers or advertised, are for representative purpose only and may not bear a resemblance to the actual products sold by the relevant sellers. The Bank shall under no circumstances be responsible towards the same.
17. services offered under this program are subject to availability from Amazon and in no circumstances. The Bank shall be liable for non-availability of any of the products.
18. Under no circumstance will the offer/Instant Discount being offered under this program be settled in cash
19. Any disputes arising out of the Offer shall be subject to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by both the Parties with mutual consultations for this purpose. The proceedings of the arbitration shall be conducted as per the provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The place of arbitration shall be at Mumbai and language of arbitration shall be English.
20. Customers are not bound in any way to participate in the program.
21. Any such participation is voluntary and the same is being made purely on a best effort basis.
22. All liability with respect to the products purchased lies with Amazon and Bank shall be in no way responsible for the same.
23. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
