Important Information

Introduction of Fees and Charges for Basic Staff Assisted Services

From 17 February 2020, a fee of RM3.00 will be charged to all Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad and Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad accounts for the following service requests made through our Client Care Centre.

Savings and Current Account Static Data Change (those available in Online Banking at Update Profile Details)
Current Account Cheque Book request (individual client only)
Credit Card Credit Balance Refund (credit the Standard Chartered Savings and Current Account only)
Credit Card Credit card replacement (for damaged card replacement)

Note: Credit card is not applicable for Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad

We encourage our clients to perform these services via our digital channels through Online Banking and SC Mobile. These channels promote hassle-free banking and you can access these services easily, anytime, anywhere.  There will not be any fee imposed for using these channels.

Who will be exempted from this fee?

  • Clients aged 65 and above (auto exemption based on the year born)
  • Clients with disabilities (exemption subject to customer declaration at any Standard Chartered branch)
  • Clients who do not have internet access
  • Basic Savings Account and Basic Checking Account holders (auto exemption)
  • Corporate clients (Business Banking, Corporate Banking , Corporate & Institutional Banking) are excluded from this fee exercise (until further notice)

  • With effect from 17 February 2020, client will be charged RM3 for each Basic Staff Assisted Services made through our Client Care Centre.

  • The following Basic Staff Assisted Services will be charged.

  • The service fee of RM3 will be debited on the same working day upon completion of the Basic Staff Assisted Services.

  • Yes, the exemption is only applicable for primary accountholder.

  • No, the RM3 fee will be applied to principal credit cardholders only. Furthermore, supplementary cardholders are not authorised to enquire or request on behalf of the cardholder.
