1.0 The Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad (“SCBMB”) and Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad (“SCSB”) (collectively known as “the Bank”) Priority Private & Priority Referral Campaign (MGM) H2 2024 (“Campaign”) will run from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024, inclusive of both dates (“Campaign Period”).
2.0 This Campaign is open to all of the Bank’s clients (but shall not include the Bank’s permanent or contract staff on Front Line Incentive Plan (“FLIP”) or Affluent Segment department staff (non-FLIP including Branch staff), non-individuals clients and corporate clients (“Eligible Referrer”).
3.0Under this Campaign, the Eligible Referrer would be entitled to the Reward as laid out in Clause 8.0 upon a Successful Referral of an Eligible Referee. “Successful Referral” means the (i) introduction of an Eligible Referee by the Eligible Referrer to the Bank where the Eligible Referrer have completed and submitted the Referral Form to the Bank’s satisfaction and acceptance and (ii) the Eligible Referee has successfully signed up for Priority membership during the Campaign Period in accordance with the terms and conditions below:
3.1 the Eligible Referee qualifies for Priority Private/Priority membership and fulfils the requirements of the Priority Private/Priority terms and conditions and must be a New-to-CASA customer who maintain a minimum of RM3,000,000 (Priority Private) or RM250,000 (Priority Banking) fresh funds with the Bank in deposits and/or investments within the next calendar month (Month On Board 1) upon completing the Referral Form.
3.2 the Referral Form must be completed and submitted to the Bank’s system prior to the Eligible Referee’s CASA account opening date. In the event SCBMB or SCSB receives the Referral Form from more than one Eligible Referrer for the same Eligible Referee, only the first Referral Form submitted and accepted in the Bank’s system will be taken into consideration in determining whether a Successful Referral has been made.
3.3 For the purpose of this Campaign, “New-to-CASA customer” refers to an individual who do not have any existing relationship with the Bank and opens at least 1 current account(s), and/or savings account(s) as the primary account holder and signs up for Priority Private or Priority with the Bank during the Campaign Period.
3.4 For the purpose of this Campaign, “Fresh Funds” means: (a) funds which do not originate from any account held with SCBMB or SCSB; (b) monies or funds howsoever transferred, credited or paid into an Eligible CASA / Islamic CASA from other banks and/or financial institutions by way of (i) Interbank GIRO transfers, (ii) collection and payment of cheques drawn on such other bank(s).
4.0 An Eligible Referrer with a Successful Referral will be entitled to receive the following Reward:
