[SG1 – By Invitation Only] Spend & Get Touch ‘n Go eWallet Reload PIN Campaign Terms and Conditions (8 March 2024 – 7 June 2024)

Campaign

1. The Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad (“SCBMB / the Bank”) Spend & Get Touch ‘n Go eWallet Reload PIN Campaign with reference number SG1 (“Campaign”) commences on 8 March 2024 and ends on 7 June 2024, inclusive of both dates (“Campaign Period”).

2. By participating in this Campaign, participants agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below.

3. This Campaign Terms must be read with the respective product terms and the relevant banking agreements. If there are any inconsistencies between these terms and the relevant product terms and the banking agreement these terms shall prevail.

Eligibility (“Eligible Cardholders / participants”)

4. This Campaign is open to Principal credit cardholders of any credit card (other than corporate cards) issued by the Bank (“SCBMB Card”) invited by the Bank through Short Messaging Service (“SMS”) or Push Notification (“PN”) via SC Mobile or Electronic Direct Mailer (“EDM”) to participate in this Campaign, and who have maintained all their accounts with the Bank in good standing, without any breach of the terms and conditions or banking agreements, throughout the Campaign Period.

5. Individuals below the age of 21 years are not eligible for this Campaign.

6. Cardholders whose accounts are cancelled, or terminated for any reason, or suspended for any breach or suspected breach by the cardholder, during the Campaign Period or within 3 months after the Campaign Period, will not be entitled to receive any Reward under this Campaign.

Participation and Qualifying Criteria

7. To participate in this Campaign, Eligible Cardholders must meet the minimum spend / transaction count of amount / transaction count per Campaign Month as indicated in Table 1 below on all retail transactions (whether local or international) (“Minimum Spend / Transaction Count Criteria”) within the Campaign Period using their SCBMB Card to be eligible for reward as per Table 2.

8. Retail transactions exclude easy payment schemes, cash advances, cash withdrawals, charges for cash advance or cash withdrawals, annual fees, interest, finance charges, late payments fees, disputed transactions, Balance Transfer Plus, Flexi-on-Balance Plus, FlexiPay Plus, and Cash-On-Call Plus.

9. If an Eligible Cardholder holds more than one SCBMB Card, retail transactions made using each SCBMB Card will be combined to meet the Minimum Spend / Transaction Count Criteria. Retail transactions made by supplementary cardholders will be excluded.

10. Transactions made by 7 June 2024 must be posted to the Eligible Cardholder’s credit card account(s) by 22 June 2024 to be included towards meeting the Minimum Spend / Transaction Count Criteria. Please note that transactions may be posted by the merchant as late as 30 days after the transaction date. The Bank will not be held responsible for late posting.

11. Charges which are subsequently voided / refunded, disputed or charged-back to the card, balance transfers, disputed transactions and any fees charged by the Bank, including but not limited to charges for cash advance or cash withdrawals, annual fees, interest, finance charges, late fees, and such other charges are excluded from the definition of retail transactions for the purposes of this Campaign.

12. To stand a chance to win the Touch ‘n Go eWallet Reload PIN (“Reward”), Eligible Cardholders must within the Campaign Period make a minimum spend / transaction count requirement as follows:

Reward: Touch ‘n Go eWallet Reload PIN (“Reward”)

13. At the end of the Campaign Period, Eligible Cardholders who meet the specified Minimum Spend / Transaction Count Criteria as indicated in Table 1 will be selected as winners in sequential order from the first Eligible Cardholder who meet the required Minimum Spend / Transaction Count Criteria until it reaches the Reward capping for the Campaign Period as shown in Table 2. Each winner may receive up to RM30 Touch ‘n Go Reload PIN throughout the Campaign Period.

14. The Bank reserves the right to hold back and/or disqualify any Reload PIN sent to the Eligible Cardholders at the Bank’s discretion if the Eligible Cardholders’ accounts are cancelled, or terminated for any reason, or suspended for any breach or suspected breach by the Eligible Cardholder, or if the Bank discovered at any time that the Eligible Cardholder did not satisfy the requirements under this campaign during the Campaign Period or are not eligible for the Campaign. The Eligible Cardholders agree for this to be done whereby:
a. the Bank shall hold back and/or disqualify the Reload PIN that was rewarded under this Campaign should the Reload PIN has not been claimed and credited into Touch ‘n Go account.
b. if the Eligible Cardholder closes and/or cancels his/her eligible card before the Reload PIN is credited to the Eligible Cardholder’s Touch ‘n Go account, the Eligible Cardholder loses his/her entitlement to the Reload PIN and is not entitled to any payment or compensation.

Reload PIN Fulfilment

15. Reward is limited to one (1) per Eligible Cardholder throughout Campaign Period, regardless of how many SCBMB Cards they hold.

16. Eligible Cardholder will receive one (1) allocated unique Reload PIN notified via email to their registered email address in the Bank’s system within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of Campaign Period.

17. The Reload PIN cannot be transferred, resold, exchanged for cash, or any other forms of legal tender.

18. The Reload PIN has a validity period of six (6) months from the date it is fulfilled. The Bank shall not be responsible for any expired, lost or stolen Reload PIN thus will not extend, replace nor regenerate the Reload PIN once it is expired.

19. Eligible Cardholder is to comply to the Reload PIN terms and conditions upon usage. Refer to:

20. If an Eligible Cardholder closes and/or cancels all his SCBMB Card account(s) before the Reload PIN is credited, the Eligible Cardholder loses his/her entitlement to the Reload PIN and is not entitled to any payment or compensation. Reload PIN will not be credited to the Eligible Cardholder’s current and/or savings account with the Bank.

General

21. The Bank’s records of details and transactions are final and conclusive for purposes of this Campaign.

22. The Bank’s decisions relating to this Campaign are final and binding all participants. If any matters, dispute or claim arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by the Bank.

23. The Bank may vary any of these Terms and Conditions and extend the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on any of the Bank’s electronic or non-electronic communication platform (i.e.: Bank’s website at sc.com/my or branch or SMS or EDM).

24. Eligible Cardholder(s) are advised to access SCBMB website at regular intervals to view the Terms and Conditions and to ensure that they are kept up to date with any changes or variations to these Terms and Conditions.

25. By participating in this Campaign, all participants:
a. agree to participate in any interviews, prize giving ceremony or other publicity events required by the Bank;
b. consent for the Bank to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that the Bank sees fit about the participants or their account(s) in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
c. grant the Bank the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and/or publish any still or moving image of the participants for any campaign, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.

26. This Campaign Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
