on September 20, 2022

Standard Chartered GBS Poland ranked fourth in the country and first in the banking and financial services sector in the Everest Group report. The study focused on employer brand perception of 200 leading organisations of the business services sector across three markets, including Poland.

The report by Everest Group is the first-of-its kind to analyse the employer perception of more than 200 leading business services organisations across three markets, including Poland. Many aspects of work have been taken into consideration – remuneration, career development opportunities, senior management, work-life balance, work culture, values and diversity. The report also evaluated the employers’ results in the talent market. The analysis was conducted based on publicly available information, such as opinions from employer assessment portals or LinkedIn data.

There are many reasons to be satisfied. According to the data published on social media platforms, users positively assessed the remuneration, including employee benefits at Standard Chartered. Further advantages include a hybrid work model, flexibility in scheduling employees’ worktime and an office space that ensures comfortable conditions and amenities.

The overall employee satisfaction assessment is especially high at A+. This means that at least 93% of social media users from the analysed group would recommend working in Standard Chartered GBS Poland to their friends.

This is a joint success of leaders and all employees. We are all committed to making Standard Chartered GBS Poland an exceptional workplace and we are extremely proud of that. We constantly focus on development, acting proactively towards our employees’ and business needs.

The work culture and creating an inclusive and diverse team were also positively assessed. Initiatives aimed at increasing diversity at leadership positions were appreciated. Social media users pointed also to numerous career development opportunities available within the company. This is supported by various skill development and training and programmes.

The report shows that at Standard Chartered, it is easy to maintain a work-life balance. The Company can also boast a low employee turnover ratio (below 5%).

In the ongoing competition for talent, maintaining a positive brand image is of quintessential importance. Business service centers need to understand what components most contribute to employer brand perception in local talent markets and how to strengthen their brand to attract and retain the best and brightest.

This is yet another recognition for Standard Chartered GBS Poland – in November 2021 the company was awarded the Great Place to Work certificate, and several months later it ranked fifth among companies hiring over 500 employees in the Best Workplaces ranking.
