Łukasz Chrin joins the Standard Chartered cybersecurity team in Poland
on December 6, 2022Łukasz Chrin has been appointed Head of Security Monitoring & Analytics at Standard Chartered Global Business Services Poland. He will set the direction of the organisation’s activities in threat detection, advanced analytics, incident response automation and research.
Łukasz Chrin has over a decade of experience in cybersecurity. His expert knowledge of advanced data modelling and the use of artificial intelligence allows Standard Chartered to develop a strategy for analysing digital threats, even better detect and respond to threats, and increase the organisation’s operational efficiency.
In his previous position as Head of Security Monitoring at ING Bank, Łukasz Chrin oversaw security monitoring processes in all regions, was responsible for the data analysis strategy and implemented threat detection capabilities in global markets, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore and Australia.

Łukasz Chrin is another Polish cybersecurity expert who joined the ranks of Standard Chartered. Since opening the Warsaw business services centre, the Bank has been joined by Adam Lange (Head of the Cyber Threat Hunting team), Marcin Ludwiszewski (Head of the Purple Team & Control Testing), Przemysław Jaroszewski (Head of Cyber Defence Center) and Cezary Piekarski, who was promoted to Global Head of Cyber Security in 2021, after holding managerial positions in Poland.
