Standard Chartered Poland wins at the LGBT+ Diamonds Awards
on December 3, 2024Standard Chartered Poland was awarded the main prize at the LGBT+ Diamonds Awards competition in the “LGBT+ supportive employer of the year” category. The aim of the competition was to recognise people, organisations, initiatives and actions which strive towards building a more equal, inclusive society, so that respect and acceptance for everyone become natural and obvious.
The competition praised inclusive policies at the Bank, the benefit offer available for employees and their families, regardless the legal status of their relationship, cooperation with external non-governmental organisations and robust works of the SC Pride Poland Employee Resource Group (ERG).

“The business community can play an instrumental part in building best practices – not only at the workplace, but also outside of work. It’s a great privilege, but simultaneously – a great responsibility. I’d like to congratulate all nominees who work tirelessly to support the LGBT+ community. We should be learning from each other and continue building a more open world together”.
Anna Jarczewska, Head of HR, Standard Chartered Poland
“I am glad that our work towards building a more inclusive workplace which is friendly to everyone has been recognised at the LGBT+ Diamonds Awards. It’s extremely important that every single person feels safe at work so that they can realise their potential and receive the support they need – for themselves and their close ones”.
