How do you know that you are in a secured/protected environment?
The Bank has taken the necessary steps to encrypt all pages containing confidential information with SSL and proprietary encryption.How to check?
You can see that the Bank�s website address changes from http:// to https:// and a security icon that looks like a padlock or key appear when authentication and encryption is expected.
You can also simply right-click on the respective web page with the security icon that looks like a padlock or key and select �Properties?(For Netscape, you should select 'View Info'). You would be able to see the details of the encryption under �Connection?(for example: SSL 3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange)
