Tahir Al Dabbagh

Chairman – Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr. Tahir M. Al Dabbagh is a veteran banking and consulting professional with more than three decades of significant experience in financial services including corporate and institutional banking. He has held several senior positions as he was Gen. Mgr. in-charge of the Western Region at Saudi Hollandi Bank (SHB), and then as CEO and Board Member of the bank’s CMA licensed investment banking arm, Saudi Hollandi Capital.

Since leaving full-time banking, he has been member of the board of directors for various Saudi and International companies most notably, Mohammed Yousef Naghi & Bros. Group, and Roots Group Arabia (subsidiary of the Saudi Binladin Group).

Mr. Tahir is an authorized Financial Consultant, a businessman, owner and partner in few companies. Recognized as one of the Leaders in KSA, an article published in “Leaders of Saudi Arabia” Book (Vol. 2).

Abdulelah Saleh Al Shaikh

Vice Chairman – Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr. Abdulelah Al Sheikh previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Home Finance Company “Sahel”, General Manager of Corporate Banking Services at Saudi Hollandi Bank, and Regional Director of the Central Region in the Bank. He also held several positions at Banque Saudi Fransi, including general manager of customer management in the central region, regional manager for the corporate sector, bank branch manager, and manager of corporate client relations.

Al Sheikh holds a Master degree in Administrative Sciences from the University of New Mexico in the United States, and a Bachelor degree in Administrative Sciences from Portland State University.

Dr. Boutros Klink

Member – Non-Executive Director

Dr. Boutros Klink is the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, Middle East, responsible for the operations in eight countries and is a member of the Bank’s Regional Management Team.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Klink has held the positions of CEO of Standard Chartered Bank for Bahrain & GCC, CEO of Standard Chartered Capital Saudi Arabia, as well as various senior positions at Standard Chartered Bank, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, UBS, National Bank of Canada, and the Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec.

Dr. Klink earned a Doctor of Science degree in Earthquake Engineering from MIT, a Master of Art in Financial Mathematics from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from MIT, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut.

Hind Hissem

Member – Non-Executive Director

Hind Hissem is an Executive Director in the Regional CEO office of Standard Chartered Bank, a leading emerging markets Bank present in ~60 countries and employing ~80,000 people, reporting directly to the CEO and based in Dubai for the last 15 years. The AME Regional CEO office runs the Bank’s business and oversight Standard Chartered’s operations in 25 countries in Africa and the Middle East with a combined revenue of over USD 2.5bn. Hind is a member of the Regional Management Team of the Bank (EXCO).

Hind is also the Head of Conduct Risk for the combined Africa and Middle East region, in charge of implementing the Conduct Risk framework across the Bank in same footprint.

Hind had a long standing career in banking, having spent 15 years at Standard Chartered Bank in various roles in investment Banking, financial markets, client coverage office, COO. Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, Hind worked in investment banking and audit in Paris, France for a large French Bank and one of the Big 4 respectively. Hind holds 2 master’s degrees in business and in Quantitative Finance from ESCP-Europe (top 3 business school in France) and Dauphine University, Paris.

Sarah Al Khelaiwi

Chief Executive Officer Standard Chartered Capital Saudi Arabia

Sarah joined Standard Chartered Capital Saudi Arabia in mid-2015 as a part of the Debt Capital Markets team that is originating and executing bonds/sukuk transactions from the GCC. Prior to joining the Debt Capital Markets team in SCCSA, Sarah had gained her experience having worked previously as a BPM in SCCSA CEO’s office and brings with her an in-depth understanding of SCCSA’s key, on-the-ground client relationships.

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree from Prince Sultan University in Business Administration and Finance.
