FAQ

  • Allianz will consider applicants who are Singapore residents from 18 years old up to the day before their 76th birthday.

  • Allianz’s International Healthcare Plans for Singapore are an independent insurance plan. Therefore the premium for Allianz’s plans is not payable via Medisave.

  • You will need to contact Allianz as soon as possible if you change your country of residence as it may impact your cover or premium, even if you are moving back home or to a country within your existing area of coverage. If you move to a country outside your current geographical area of coverage, your existing cover will not be valid and therefore it is very important that you discuss this with Allianz or your broker as early as possible. Please note that coverage in some countries is subject to local health insurance restrictions, particularly for residents of that country. It is your responsibility to ensure that your healthcare coverage is in line with local health care requirements, if any. If you are in any doubt, please seek independent advice as we may no longer be able to provide you with coverage. The coverage provided by Allianz is not a substitute of local compulsory health insurance.

  • Yes. The persons eligible for coverage under your plan are your legal spouse/partner together with any children under the age of 18 years old, or under the age of 24 years old, if in full-time education.

  • Your plan offers coverage for emergency treatments outside your area of coverage. This means that you will be covered for medical emergencies occurring during business or holiday trips outside your area of coverage. Full details are available in our Benefit Guide.

Coverage for your Policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
