New Bank Identifier Code (BIC) for online local fund transfers

We have introduced a new Bank Identifier Code (BIC) – SCBLSG22 – for online local fund transfers.

The corresponding entity name for the new BIC (SCBLSG22) will be displayed on the other banks’ online/mobile banking platforms as “Standard Chartered Bank Singapore” or “Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited”.

If you are expecting inward payments from other banks, please advise the sender to choose “Standard Chartered Bank Singapore” or “Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited” when adding you as a payee.

Please note that there will be no impact to your existing payee arrangements. We will work with the other banks to do the necessary changes in due course. No action is required of you.
