Spree Credit Card Discontinuation Frequently Asked Questions

What will happen to my Spree Credit Card after 7 April 2023?

Our partnership with SingPost will be ending on 7 April 2023. You can continue to use your Spree Credit Card, where the cashback benefits of up to 3% on your spend remains the same.

We will be progressively replacing the Spree Credit Card face for our existing base of clients from 1 August 2023. You will receive a new card face without the SingPost logo when your card expires, or before 30 September 2024, whichever is earlier.

Will there be any changes to the Spree Credit Card benefits after 7 April 2023 and will I enjoy the same benefits with the new Spree card face?

You can continue to earn:

  • 3% cashback on all online spend in foreign currency and all vPost spend
  • 2% cashback on all online spend in local currency, all contactless and mobile payments
  • 1% cashback on all other retail spend

Cashback is capped at S$30 per statement month and you also continue to enjoy The Good Life privileges.

However, the following SingPost privileges will no longer be available from 7 April 2023:

  • 25% off standard shipping on vPost with promo code “SPREESP”
  • 5% off SmartPac box and Poly M at Post Office
  • 10% discount off packing material at Post Office with minimum $30 purchase
  • 10% discount at Philatelic Store with minimum $30 purchase
  • 5% discount on shop.singpost.com with no minimum spend

Can I request to replace my Spree Credit Card to the new card face even if it is not due for renewal yet?

We will be progressively replacing the Spree Credit Card face for our existing base of clients from 1 August 2023. You will receive a new card face without the SingPost logo when your card expires, or before 30 September 2024, whichever is earlier. You are encouraged to wait for the new card face to be sent to you.

What will happen to the cashback I have earned on my Spree Credit Card?

You will continue to earn the same cashback. Any cashback earned on the Spree Credit Card is posted to the Card account and will automatically be used to offset any outstanding balances on the credit card.

I have recurring payment plans / instalment plans / EasyPay on Transactions (EOT) / EasyPay on Balances (EOB) on my Spree Credit Card. What will happen to those?

As the replacement Spree Card will hold the same 16-digit card number as your existing Credit Card, there is no impact to your existing instalment plans or payment arrangements.

I have outstanding balances on my Spree Credit Card. What will happen to it?

Any balances on your Credit Card will be automatically transferred over to the replacement Spree Credit Card.

What are the fees and charges for the replacement Spree Credit Card?

I have a supplementary Spree Credit Card, will that be replaced as well?

Your Spree supplementary Credit Card(s) will be replaced together with the Principal Credit Card.

How will the replacement Spree Credit Card look like?

The replacement Spree Credit Card is printed on carbon neutral plastic, where the 16-digit card number and expiry date is printed at the back of the card.
