Termination of standing instruction service on telegraphic transfer for SME Banking

Dear valued client,

Termination of standing instruction service on telegraphic transfer for SME Banking

To prioritise resources to allow you to enjoy an elevated banking experience, with effect from 10 February 2025, SME Banking clients will no longer be able to set up new standing instruction(s) on telegraphic transfer by way of form submission(s)/ instruction letter(s), and existing standing instruction(s) that have already been setup will be terminated with effect from 1 March 2025 (the “Effective Date“).

As an alternative to standing instruction(s), you may schedule your next payment via Straight2Bank before the Effective Date, and repeat the same subsequently. Please note that the future dated payment(s) function in Straight2Bank does not offer the ability to remit the set amount at regular intervals, so you are required to set up one-off future dated payment(s) for each payment required. Guidelines of setting up future dated payment(s) via Straight2Bank can be found at s2b.sc.com/s2b/support/help_topics/payment/create-payments/index.html.

For enquiry, please contact your relationship manager or call our service hotline for Business Banking clients on (852)2886-6988 or for Medium Enterprise clients on (852)3146-7499. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
