The Standard Chartered QR Cash is a service for Automatic Teller Machine (“ATM”) cash withdrawal using SC Mobile App. It is a cardless withdrawal experience by scanning the QR Code on ATM.

You can pre-stage your cash withdrawal instruction in SC Mobile App before you arrive at our ATM and withdraw cash quickly by just scanning the QR code display without your ATM card and PIN.
Standard Chartered customers who have eligible banking account for cash withdrawal can use this service. No registration is required.
QR Cash is available in all Standard Chartered ATMs located in Hong Kong. You can locate your nearest ATM using SC Mobile App.

Instruction is valid for 60 minutes. After expiry, you will need to create a new instruction.
You can update or cancel an instruction before expiry. You can retrieve the pending instruction by tapping QR Cash in SC Mobile app. For editing, you can tap on any of the fields of the pending instruction to begin. For deleting, you can tap the trash bin icon located at the top right hand corner to cancel the instruction.
One instruction is only allowed per withdrawal.
You can create another instruction after each withdrawal.
This service is only applicable to SC Mobile App.
Not required. You can go to any Standard Chartered ATM that supports cardless withdrawal to get cash after setting up the instruction.
Not required. The authentication will be done at SC Mobile App using your user name and password, Touch ID or Face ID.
The transaction will appear on your paper statement, electronic statement, transaction history in online and SC Mobile inbox.
Yes, it is. Bank is not charging any fees for using QR Cash.
However, there will be a charge applied if the withdrawal account is a credit card account; which is the same case for physical card cash withdrawal. If the bank intends to charge any other fees, advanced notice will be notified to customers.
The withdrawal is real-time and the funds will be deducted from your account when the cash has been dispensed from the ATM.
In the unlikely event of this happening, you will receive a notification in your inbox of the SC Mobile App. The related transaction will be reversed and the fund will be credited bank to the withdrawal account.
Your last instruction will be saved in SC Mobile App. The last withdrawal account and amount will be pre-selected when you create a new instruction.
A copy of the transaction details will be saved in the Inbox of your SC Mobile App for your reference.
QR Cash is secure.
SC Mobile App is protected with your user name and password or Touch ID or Face ID. Each authorized transaction must require your online banking credential with SC Mobile Key activated.
Unique QR code will be generated at ATM for each transaction and will be expired in 20 seconds.
Yes, you will receive an SMS alert on your registered mobile number after you have setup an instruction and successfully taken cash.
No. Your online banking credentials are required to authorize the transaction. Please do not share your SC Mobile credentials with others.
The phone’s fingerprint or PIN security will allow you to lock your phone from unauthorized access. SC Mobile App is protected with user name and password, Touch ID or Face ID. If your phone is stolen, the app cannot be accessed without your login credentials.

Fill in particulars and accept the Terms & Conditions
Enter “Transaction Password”

Click “Confirm” for submission and wait for the SMS confirmation from Standard Chartered HK

Clients can update the online banking daily transfer limits via SC Online Banking or download and complete the “Tele-electronic Banking Services – Online Banking Daily Transfer Limits Update Form”, then return it to any of our branches or by free mail service (facsimile copy is not accepted). The request will be processed within 3 working days upon receipt and confirmation.
1. No handling fee will be charged for adding Alipay®HK Account
2. No handling fee will be charged for topping up Alipay®HK Account by Standard Chartered bank accounts / credit card accounts except specify in point c below.
3. For Alipay®HK Account top up by Standard Chartered / MANHATTAN Credit Card(s), the maximum transfer amount in a month is HK$25,000 per Cardholder, according to the Cardholder’s Hong Kong Identity Card Number or Passport Number (if applicable). If the total accumulated money transfer amount made by all credit cards mentioned in credit card account type above (based on the transaction date) exceeds HK$25,000 per Cardholder in a month, a 3.5% handling fee will be applied to the transferred amount beyond HK$25,000 and this handling fee will be debited to the valid Credit Card account with the highest transferred amount. If the last day of a calendar month is Sunday, any related transactions made on that day will be counted in the following calendar month.

In case of loss of mobile phone, you can log in to your account via another device and then disconnect the access between your account and the lost device. The touch login feature will also be disabled immediately when another user logs into SC Mobile on the same device using a different set of Username and Password, or after consecutive failures of fingerprint login attempts (6 times for iOS or 5 times for Android). You can login to SC Mobile to go to “Settings” and select “Daily Limit Maintenance” or our Online Banking to go to “My Preferences” and select “Daily Limit Maintenance”, to update the daily aggregated transfer limit* to online registered third party payees.
