2. Welcome offer consists of the New Funds Growth Offer and Wealth Management Product Reward. New Clients sign up for Priority Banking may enjoy New Funds Growth Offer of up to HKD22,000 cash rebate or 220,000 Asia Miles by depositing at least HKD7,000,000 new funds and fulfil all requirements. 3.Eligible clients who choose Asia Miles as the rewards for New Funds Growth Offer must register on the designated webpage at sc.com/hk/AM from 1 October 2024 to 31 January 2025. Relevant Asia Miles will be credited directly to the eligible client’s Cathay membership account.

6. Welcome offer consists of the New Funds Growth Offer and Wealth Management Product Reward. Existing Clients upgrade to Priority Banking may enjoy New Funds Growth Offer of up to HKD10,500 cash rebate or 105,000 Asia Miles by depositing at least HKD5,000,000 new funds and fulfil all requirements. Offer is only applicable to those who have not been Priority Private or Priority Banking clients in the past 12 months. 7. New Clients can enjoy first 2-quarter maintenance fee waiver. Existing Clients can enjoy first 4-quarter maintenance fee waiver. After the expiration of maintenance fee waiver offer, if the average daily Relationship Balance of the client within the quarter falls below HKD1,000,000, a maintenance fee of HKD900 will be charged for the quarter.

8. The bank is not an agent of the designated bank and shall only provide clients with witnessing service for account opening purposes. Acceptance of your account opening application is subject to the sole and final discretion of the designated bank.

9. The exact time needed for receiving the fund depends on several factors, such as the remittance currency type, the processing time of payment intermediaries and the clearing mechanism of local and payee banking.

Important Notes for Priority Banking Multi-Currency Mastercard Debit Card:

  • The Multi-Currency Debit Card must be linked to the Account that you open or hold with the Bank with the supported currencies including HKD, USD, RMB*, AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, JPY, NZD, SGD (“Supported Currencies”). In case of disputes, the Bank has the sole and final discretion to determine the primary account that is linked to or tied to the Multi-Currency Debit Card.

* Integrated Deposits Account RMB savings and current account are available to valid Hong Kong ID holders only.

  • If there is insufficient available foreign currencies in the Account to settle the full amount of the transaction, or the transaction made is denominated in a currency outside of the supported 11 currencies of the Account, the transaction amount will be converted into HKD at an exchange rate we reasonably consider appropriate and the equivalent converted amount in HKD will be debited from the linked HKD Account. A foreign exchange rate mark-up fee of 0.95% on the full amount of the transaction will be charged to the Account. Please note that in case you have insufficient funds in HKD, the transaction will be rejected. Bank’s House view on asset classes  3. Fund select list. These inputs are refreshed on monthly basis by Bank’s Investment and product specialists.

myWealth service limitations:

  • myWealth is a direct to client investment service. If you require human interaction, please contact your Relationship Manager for further engagement.
  • The investment ideas generated through the myWealth service have taken into consideration your current risk profile, cash balances, investment funds, bonds, equities, structured investments and structured products holdings that you have held with the Bank.
  • Your investment concentration, holdings in insurance, leverage or other loans with the Bank, and any other investment holdings, assets / liabilities outside the Bank are not considered in the myWealth service.
  • Currently, myWealth only generates investment ideas on investment funds based on your current asset allocation and the model asset allocation under predefined rules.
  • myWealth does not offer automatic portfolio rebalancing.
  • The algorithms may include performance data and statistics that are derived based on historical data and methodologies formulated on various assumptions.
  • Extreme events such as drastic market declines are not explicitly modelled.
  • Prices and market values are for your information only and their accuracy is not guaranteed, and they may not be relied upon by any party as the basis for making any trading, hedging or investment decision. Prices including those of exchange traded securities are generally based upon the last traded price at close of market. Funds are valued based on the latest available net asset value.
