Life Insurance Tax Certificate

Life Insurance Tax Certificate First, create an account on. To Create your account, take the following steps:

· Go to https://app.sanlam.co.ke/login-page
– Click on create account option
· Enter your personal details on the provided fields and click done (the personal details should be the details on your policy)
· You will receive a one-time pin (OTP) SMS on both your phone number and email address
· Enter the one time pin (OTP) and click on next button to enable creation of a new password
· Log into the portal using the new credentials

To view/print the tax relief certificates or policy statements

1. Click on the policy for which you want to print a certificate/tax certificate
2. Click “output schedule”
3. Select on how you wish to receive your schedule. This can be either via email or by downloading the document
4. Select the document you want to print out.
5. For tax certificates, you can either print the annual tax relief certificate for monthly relief through your employer or to claim annually through KRA when doing returns.
6. For annual tax certificate for KRA, you need to select the year you would like to print the certificate.

Terms and Conditions

  • Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited (“Bank”)
    1. Campaign. The Standard Chartered Bancassurance Intermediary Limited (“SCBIL”) Banca campaign Client Incentive Campaign for General Insurance Solutions i.e., Motor, Home, Travel discount (“Campaign”) commences from, inclusive of both dates (“Campaign Period”). The campaign objective is to increase to increase the digital insurance solutions. This will be achieved by providing an opportunity to cross-sell Digital Insurance Motor, Home & Travel insurance covers to all Clients
    2. By participating in this Campaign, participants agree to be bound by all the Terms and Conditions below. Eligibility
    3. Eligible. This Campaign is open to all Bank’s Clients who fulfil the following conditions.
      1. Those who have maintained all their accounts with the Bank in good standing, without any breach of the Terms and Conditions or Agreements.
      2. All individual Clients of the Bank subject to clause 3.1 above
      3. Existing Clients of the Bank this includes those in the Priority, Premium and Personal Banking segments
    4. (“Eligible Clients)-: The participating Bancassurance Products are the Digitally offered Insurance Solution Products (i.e., Motor Home & Travel) The solutions under this Campaign can be purchased digitally through the SC B Mobile App and this only includes this digitally offered solutions.
    5. Scenario 1: – Moses, an existing Affluent Banking client has purchased a comprehensive Motor insurance cover on SC Mobile app on July 25th, 2023, based on the eligibility criteria set out in this campaign, Moses is entitled to a fuel voucher of Kes 3000 discount of bank’s commission
    6. Scenario 2: – Mary, an existing Personal Banking client has subscribed to two general insurance digital solutions through the SC mobile app i.e., Third party Motor insurance cover and a home insurance cover of KES 10,000 on 31st July 2023. Based on the eligibility criteria set out in this campaign, Mary qualifies to a gift voucher of KES 1500 on the home insurance only General
    7. The Bank will consider any matters, dispute or claim arise under this Campaign and decide accordingly.
    8. The Bank may at any time vary any of these terms and conditions including adjusting minimum qualifying criteria. The updated version will be available on the Bank’s website at sc.com/ke and will take effect from the date of notification of the update or amendment
    9. The Bank may add and/or remove the type of publication offered under the Campaign’s Reward from time to time that the Bank deems suitable for the Campaign.
    10. The Bank reserves the right to cease this Campaign at any time as it deems necessary.
    11. By participating in this Campaign, each participant agrees to hold the Bank and Standard Chartered Bancassurance Intermediary Limited free from all losses, damages, rights, claims, liabilities, and actions of any kind in connection with this Campaign or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
    12. By participating in this Campaign, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
    13. These Campaign Terms and Conditions are supplementary to the Terms and Conditions applicable to the products eligible for this Campaign and Client Terms and Conditions (“Standard Terms”).
    14. The Campaign and these terms and conditions are governed by the Laws of Kenya, and the participants submit to the jurisdiction of the jurisdiction of the Courts of Kenya.
    15. The participating Insurance Products are underwritten by Sanlam General Insurance which is regulated by Insurance regulatory Authority (IRA) and are distributed by Standard Chartered Bancassurance Intermediary Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank that is licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority as a Bancassurance Intermediary. The Bank is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya
